A word about the photographs presented in our Photo Gallery: The before and after photographs are taken in our clinic photo studio. We use 35mm film and the negatives are un-retouched. There are no digital photographs. When viewing the before and after photos, please keep in mind that variations in degree of results may reflect the desires of the patients: Bigger lips, smaller lips, best correction possible versus more subtle results, higher or low eyebrows, etc. These results were obtained utilizing surgical procedures only; no lasers or chemical peels were done. Only one implant was used (a chin implant). For lip volume restoration (fuller lips) we use the patient's own natural live tissue which is transferred into the lips from the face or body; although lips continue to thin with age the grafts appear to live forever.
